We worked on long vowel letters for two weeks and how they change from long vowel to a letter

Now we are looking at a 3rd way these letters change the pronunciation but this time they are not long vowels neither are they acting as consonants. This is the concept of Wow leen and Ya leen

We worked on page 28 and 29 in the class.  Please read the last column on page 29 at home (as we did in the class) and write it.  Please hand in your homework

Arabic 7 - important decisions

We have decided that we will strictly focus on Tajweed, New Grammar, Tafheem of Juz 2 & 3 verses and Tafseer for these verses with Br Ahmad between 11:30 to 1:30 PM.  We will ensure that we do not digress

We also decided that we will focus on verficiation of Juz 3 verses, review of Juz 1 verses and memorize vocabulary with Br Mashood between 1:45 to 2:20 PM insha-Allah

Hadith and Sarf will be on back burner until next year.  Building vocabulary this year will help with Sarf next year.  Hadith will be brought in once we have more grammar build them.  Br Mashood will help with translation while Br Ahmad can help with Sharh (details) of the Hadith, hopefully leading to 40 Hadith Ijaazah for students
