A2HW10: Unnamed rule (page 55) + Surah An-Naas
For the Class Date: 02/12/2023, Following homework is due on 2/19/2023
- Rule of Hamzah ul Wasl is covered in the class
- Students were given a demo of the final exam
- Vocabulary page demo should be done too

Arabic 2 final exam information
Date: Sunday March 19th @ 8:30 am - finishing at 11:30 am
There is no written exam. It is all oral exam. Students will be tested individually or in groups of 2.

- Here is a Green book PDF. Be sure to have your green book with you. You will asked to read individual words and explain the reading rules applied in that word.
- All Suraat from Green book (page 64 onwards). We will have you read 3 of these 8 suraat. You will be asked to read one word at a time and tell the reading rule
- All exercise pages after page 25 in Green Book.
- Pages 29, 31, 36-37, 42-44, 48-49, 52, 54, 57, 60 and 63.
- You can also try the audio files of above pages if it helps
- Vocabulary: Each student will be asked 10 questions on using the Vocabulary sheet.

A5HW41 - New Ayaat/Review Ayaat/Surah Kahf and practice for certification
Assalaam-u-Alaikum Dear Students
For this Class Date: 03/19/2023, Following homework is due on 03/26/2023
Our goal - finish and review Juz 1 (Surah Baqarah) as much as possible before Ramadan (Mid March 2023). Surah Faatihah as well, Surah Mulk and possibly Surah Kahf
Darwrah 1 - Means this is word to word writing in the notebook and going through the categories and translation for the new aayah.Dawrah 2&3 - Means going through the Arabic phrases for both Arabic 5 and 6 as well as Grammar concepts!Dawrah 4 - Means can only look at Arabic text from Quran for Arabic 5 and for Arabic 6
Dawrah 5 - cannot look at Arabic text. Listen and translate
- Next week HW 187 to 190
- Next week depending on the schedule we will review vocabulary and grammar for verses 101 to 141.
- Surah kahf we did verses 41 and 42. Next week inshaaAllah we start verse 43.
