We worked on vs. 149-151 with Sadaf and reviewed 13-20. For grammar, we looked at laysa and lan for present negation and future negation. With Ahmed, we went over vs. 83. Reviewed 146-149 with Mashood. Lastly, did a short dictation exercise. For homework, write 152-155 and review 21-28.

Class, please write all of the حَرَكات (vowel markings for example: dumma, kasra, fatha, sakoon) and tanween when appropriate.  In these exercises, we place the tanween on words that do not start with an alif and lam (ال).  I would also like you to translate the words and sentences to english.  All of this should be done on a separate sheet of paper.  The more you write arabic, the more you remember it :)

A3HW2 (advanced classes): Review of our grammar lessons

Returning Arabic 3 students (Guled, Abdi Fatah, Maymoon, Sawsah, Amaal, Mohammad & sisters, Abdur Rahmaan, Nunay)
Do not write any new verses.  be sure you have your current verses written completely and correctly as I have asked you all to write.  Let us get really good at this style, before we write more verses in the class

Be sure to read verses 2 to 13 to best of your ability.  If you need to, feel free to use a reciter of your choice or use the house of Quran site or Quran.com site to help yourself

Welcome to your class new students.

We discussed the 4 core concepts you will focus on during this class.  We also introduced you to first 3 letters we will work on, along with short vowels and some terminology

It is a lot for first day and first day is usually hard but day 2 and day 3 are easier and we will repeat plenty of these concepts in day 2 and day 3
