Today during 10-10:30am grammar class, we continued with page 17 (ver, subject, and object). We had 2 students today with only 1 participating.

May 20th from Sr Naima:

Today during 10-10:30am grammar class, we finished page 16. In’Sha’Allah we’ll continue from page 17 next. Please continue reviewing everything we’ve learned so far especially unit 3

May 13th from Sr Naima:

Today during 10-10:30am grammar, we finished pages 14-15 Alhamdulillah. We’ll continue practicing verbs on pages 16-17 next week In’Sha’Allah. Jzk’Allahu Kheyran for showing up, participating, turning in your quizzes, and doing amazing job!

Darwrah 1 - Means this is word to word writing in the notebook and going through the categories and translation for the new aayah.

Dawrah 2&3 - Means going through the Arabic phrases for both Arabic 5 and 6 as well as Grammar concepts!

Dawrah 4 - Means can only look at Arabic text from Quran for Arabic 5 and for Arabic 6

Dawrah 5 - cannot look at Arabic text. Listen and translate

During today’s 1-1:30pm class, we practiced past tense verbs and began present tense on page 11. Your homework is to do past tense for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd person in singular, dual, and plural form using circles words (see image). Homework is always due Friday at 5pm. We’ll continue with present tense next week…  In’Sha’Allah.

For grammar, we continued covering Past Tense for 2nd and 3rd person on page 11. We’ll continue practicing past tense next week before moving on to presentment tense In’Sha’Allah

Write last 4 lines of page 25.  write one word on each line.  there are a total of 16 words.  When writing, skip a line after each word so it looks neat and clean

We have been focusing on long vowels and some important detail such as 

1. What is the role of a long vowel letter for the letter before it?
2. Does a long vowel letter need a harakah?
3. Does the letter before it need a harakah?
4. How do we treat letter Alif if it has a sukoon
5. How do we treat other long vowel letters if a sukoon shows up on them
6. How do we treat letter Alif if it has a short vowel on it
7. How do we treat other long vowel letters if short vowel shows up on them
8. Write all the words in the first column from page 29 

Ramadan and April 2023

In March & April (including Ramadan), some of you took your final exams and some of your started new (after being tested).  While another group started on the "stoppers".

As a result, at 9 AM every Sunday, each of these 3 groups will work on their own reading syllabus but ... at 9:30 am onwards inshaaAllah you will all come together and called Arabic 3_NEW inshaaAllah

• In Class you read Ayats 26-28, For homework, please write & Practice reading verse 29 only!

• Arabic 2 Seniors group (Charmarke, Rabeah, Danyal and rest)
• Be sure to practice first 5 ayaat with stoppers  (  وَ   فَ  ثمٌ    قالَ    اَنٔ/اَنٌ  )

Ramadan and April 2023

We focused on reading words from white book and did page 11 to page 32 few times with teacher.  this way we ensured putting our reading knowledge into practice

we also started on the vocabulary page with sr Rand so it is well under control for us
