Register for "Deception" class asap

Insha-Allah ... in the short class past Sunday regarding "Love for Allah" - besides the previous 3 points, I shared following verse numbers ( https://quran.com/3/31 & https://quran.com/4/147 )


Deadline for registration for Deception class is April 19th 2019

"Deception: Study of Shaytan" - Saturday April 27 & 28th 10 am to 7 pm @ Wiley Hall at U of MN (University of MN)

• Cost is $69 if we register as a group otherwise it is $89 or $95 @ https://www.almaghrib.org/minnesota
• We do not want anyone to miss this class due to lack of funds.  Please write to me directly about how much funds you are short.  I have raised about $250 so far and these funds can be used to support anyone in need of them.  Let's use them!
• Sheikh Saad Tasleem will be teaching the class and it is an excellent class to learn about your enemy
• Lunch break is 1 pm - 3 pm.  We can enjoy it together or just go out to have lunch of our choice
• Parents have the mommy and daddy sitting rooms.  They can take the class while kids play around them
• Your relatives (spouse, parents, kids, siblings) can also register for this price (0f $69) however the financial help funds raised so far are only for you.
• A FREE Friday night program about this class will take place on Friday April 26th.  It is free of charge

A8HW2-2019: Wrap up the translation part of Surah Mulk

Our goal - Start and finish Full Surah Baqarah before Ramadan (May 2019).  Surah Faatihah as well, Surah Mulk and possibly Surah Kahf

Quran reading, Tafseer and translation:

• Surah Mulk - Dawrah 2 & Dawrah 3 for last 10 verses for next Sunday.  we will wrap them up between 12 PM - 1:30 PM.
• Working on Tafseer with Br Ahmad - is back in action

Grammar:

• Finish Black book lessons with Br Ahmad so we can start on Matan Ajroomiyah soon

Arabic Reading:

• If it helps for the Matan, let us do it, using the Tafseer book

We worked on translating verse 25 of Surah Baqarah. Next week Insha Allah we will translate 26 and 27.

I am extremely happy for you Arabic 2, Yesterday we started on our first surah yesterday!  word to word and observing all reading rules known to you so far! alhamdulillah!

We reviewed Page 52 and 54 (Muqati'aat) in the class and then started on our first surah on page 64.  This is Surah Feel

We focused rule of Maddah (which letter is elongated, which harakah is elongated and how long do we make it)

1. Please write each word of this surah
2. You do not need spell each word anymore
3. Simply mention all of the reading rules in that particular word
4. Practice reading this surah - word by word.  Be as slow as needed but please be accurate.  I will add a link here soon to read/recite this surah
